ABOUT ME

My name is Melanie Hartman. I am a CTE teacher, CTE Dept. Chair, the CIC - Campus Innovation Coach at Middle School in Austin ISD. I teach Animation 1 and 2 and Photography 1 and 2. In the past I have taught Video Game Design, Web Design, Info Tech, Business, and a Chromebook Help Desk at Paredes Middle School. My classroom is Room 203 on the second floor. I am a giant nerd! I love watching TV, movies, and listening to music. I am always on the go and get bored very easily. I am a crazy fangirl. More about me:

I have been a teacher since 2004. The first year I taught I was a 1st grade teacher. Since then, I have taught technology classes to kindergarten through 8th grade students as well as teachers. I went to college at Texas State University and I have my BS and MEd degrees. I have worked for Seguin ISD, Hays CISD, and Austin ISD.

I live in San Marcos. I have two kids and my husband is a science teacher at San Marcos High School. I also have 7 cats, 3 dogs, and an 100 gallon fish tank at home. I love animals if you cannot tell.
